Eastern Sierra Farm Fresh is proud to collaborate with Inyo County Office of Education and Bishop Unified School District’s Inyo Farm@School, actively helping to plant, tend, and grow the school farm orchard -
a living space where students learn through
hands-on, food-based education.

Together, we share a mission to enhance the well-being of Inyo County’s schoolchildren by expanding access to fresh, healthy, locally grown food.

At the Inyo Farm@School, student farmers will grow and harvest fruits and vegetables, learning valuable skills in agriculture, nutrition, and ecological stewardship. The produce grown on campus will directly support the Bishop Unified School District’s breakfast, lunch, and summer meal programs, ensuring local kids receive fresh, nourishing food throughout the year.

Students will also have opportunities to share their work with the wider community through on-site visits and Eastern Sierra Farm Fresh’s Farm to Table Market, helping them build confidence, leadership, and a deeper connection to the land.

By donating to Eastern Sierra Farm Fresh, you will support the Orchard Project and help Inyo County students learn, grow, and thrive. Your contribution plants fruit-bearing trees, grapes, and berries that become part of a living outdoor classroom, feeding students through school meals and teaching hands-on skills in ecological farming. Together, we can grow an orchard that nourishes our kids and our community for years to come.

3% Cover the Fee

Help stock the orchard with the essentials students use every day. Your gift provides items like hand pruners, berry plants, and basic tools that student farmers rely on for planting, tending, and harvesting their crops.

Small Materials $25 or $50

Put down roots at the orchard by funding a fruit tree such as an apple, peach, pear, apricot, or pluot - or a set of tools that help care for it. Your donation supports both long-term food production and hands-on student learning.

Single Tree $150

Support the harvest with core orchard equipment like ladders and produce crates. This level helps ensure students can safely gather, transport, and store fresh fruit from the trees they grow & care for.

Medium Equipment $250

Small Tree Guild $450

Sponsor a mini orchard! This donation plants a group of three fruit trees and includes an optional naming or dedication. Your gift leaves a living legacy while directly supporting student learning and school meals.

Fund major orchard upgrades like an orchard ladder or wash station. These tools improve safety, efficiency, and food handling - helping students bring fresh fruit from tree to table.
